06/12: Katja vs. Bridget
On the Dutch TV broadcaster BNN a new show is featuring a battle between the two most popular female Dutch TV personalities. Part of this battle is getting the most visitors to their website.
Of course I gladly support my favourite.
My favourite Dutch cartoon characters Fokke and Sukke have now gone international, so now the whole world can enjoy their cartoons. Alas, their authors have also decided to rename them to Duck and Birdie, as their Dutch names might be too spicy in an English speaking context ;-)
The most popular entry on my blog (and on many other blogs) still is that a guy lipsynching O-Zone's Dragostea din tei. As a reprise of this log: this school class seems to be a fan of this video also.

14/11: Kill Bill's Browser
Funny site that gives you 13 reasons to switch to Firefox.
Google is now even paying for website referrals making people download Firefox, but alas this is for USA website owners only. So clicking this link to get Firefox does not earn me any money, it is just good advice ;-)
Update: Now Google is also paying for international website owners, so if you want to download Firefox AND let Google pay me a dollar, click on the 'Get Firefox' button on the left of this page.
05/11: Bees (Lots of bees)
Nice flash animation with a catchy song about (lots of) bees.
05/11: South Park: Beavertown
YABSE (Yet Another Briljant Southpark Episode): this scene is a great parody on TV reporting after Katrina.

31/10: MC Yoda
It seems Yoda can do anything, now he can even dance and rap on a hip hop song. 'That voice... hard on my throat it is.'

A complete summary of Starwars Episodes IV and V in an animated GIF under 250 KB? It is possible, here is the proof: Episode IV and Episode V.

25/10: I go chop your dollar
Apparently, a pop-song about Nigerian e-mail scammers is hugely popular in Africa. Click here for the video and lyrics.

What do you get when you subtitle screenshots from Lord of the Rings with chat captions from World of Warcraft? A very funny animated GIF!

Well, this would be a nice addition to my future digital camera! Canon just showed a prototype of an automatic smile detection system, which should enable future camera's to take the photo at just the optimal moment that everybody smiles and has his or her eyes open.

07/10: PSP subway maps
Handy: PSP subway maps from all over the world. No Rotterdam and Amsterdam included yet, but it might come in handy for me while travelling abroad.
I never talk about work on my blog. Firstly, probably nobody is interested anyway (which may be true for the rest of my blog as well, but like to think otherwise ;-) ), but secondly my employer might not like it. The last reason is illustrated in a funny way in this Dilbert comic.
03/10: Atari MULE online
My all time favourite 8-bit game still is M.U.L.E.. I still sometimes play this game on my original Commodore 128D or a Commodore 64 emulator on my PC or telephone.
Now someone has created a way to play the Atari version of M.U.L.E. online with 4 players! Check the Atari MULE online site for details.
27/09: Super Mario Opera
Some Super Mario fan with time enough on his hand is busy writing a Super Mario Opera! You can preview this work in progress at this site.
